Perinatal Consulting

Many women and couples find themselves expecting a baby and not knowing how to choose a care provider, what the process entails, why it matters who you choose and what all the rumors they've heard mean. A perinatal consultation can help with these questions and much more. Before becoming pregnant or early in pregnancy a consultation can help you clarify what your preferences, concerns, and questions are that will allow you to move forward making choices most appropriate for your own needs throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum/early parenting.Pregnant Woman.
Later on in pregnancy, you may be starting to wonder what childbirth classes to take, have you really chosen the best care provider for your needs, are you wanting to have a more natural or more medical birth experience, and what about postpartum?

Jessica takes time during these sessions to skillfully help you elucidate and clarify your own feelings, preferences, questions and concerns. With this information she can then offer recommendations of questions to ask care provider(s), topics for couples to talk through, ways to proceed forward, questions for the institution where you may be planning to give birth, and much more.

Jessica will offer you recommendations for support, reading, care providers and classes and any other needs that may help to streamline and smooth out the steps as you move forward in the growth of your family.

Some expectant parents want a consult after an unsatisfying previous pregnancy, birth or postpartum experience while others are venturing into family-hood for the first time and are seeking guidance in vast unknown territory. Either way, Jessica can guide you through to what most meets your needs.

These sessions allow time for you to talk about your personal experiences and circumstances and how to best address them.

You will be provided with many resources and have the option of a book with information compiled and written by Jessica.
